Il sito Paris 26 Gigapixels offre una visione panoramica della città di Parigi con la possibilità di effettuare lo zoom in qualsiasi punto si punti il mouse: un pò come trovarsi su una posizione elevata della città francese con un binocolo in mano.
La visuale è stata costruita componendo con un apposito software di "photo stitching" migliaia di foto prese nell'arco di 5 ore in una giornata dello scorso settembre.
La risoluzione finale della foto ottenuta è di ben 354159x75570 pixels: questa si che è alta risoluzione!
